Even though she was famous for starring in the coming-of-age movies My Girl and its sequel, former child actress Anna Chlumsky is doing her best to stay up in Hollywood. With a recurring role on ABC's Cupid as Josie, the 28-year-old star holding on to the craft of acting and even bagged another movie stint. She's been cast on the upcoming ensemble comedy In the Loop.

Despite her skills and charm, Anna Chlumsky experienced difficulties in obtaining parts as she grew up. Her teen years led her to take a break from a showbiz life, focusing on her studies instead. Still, she managed to appear in television series like 30 Rock and Law & Order, as well as in a number of theatre productions.

The country's leadership has squabbled for years over ethnic differences, halting prospects of joining the European Union and leaving the country's people feeling isolated, and unable to travel freely in the rest of Europe.

Over the last two decades, Bosnia has received rare visits from stars such as U2 and Jamiroquai, both of whom appeared in Sarajevo.

The regional government-sponsored visit by Kravitz, and a later free show by the British rock band Kosheen that drew 10,000 people, offered an unusual opportunity for an experience that is everyday in the rest of Europe.

"This is the best night of my life," said bank clerk Dragana Kunic, 28. "I went to Lenny's concert and now I'm listening to Kosheen live. I couldn't ask for more."

Beating her own record for highest jump to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (“A Moment Like This” jumped from #52 to #1 in 2002) when her lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” jumped from #97 to #1 back in January makes her the only artist to do so. The song is actually the only American Idol alum song to reach #1 that is not related to the show/released through it. This marks Kelly’s second #1 in the US, her first in the UK and fourth in Canada.

Sometimes it’s hard to hate Katherine Heigl. Of course, it should be easy – the Grey’s Anatomy actress has made a practice out of doing things that almost seemed designed to make her fans turn against her (withdrawing her name from Emmy competition because she felt she was not given awards-worthy material from the writers of the show that made her famous or criticizing Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up—aka the film that made her a movie star — for painting women as humorless and uptight shrews, etc.) But then you see a lightweight summer romantic comedy like The Ugly Truth and one is forced to admit that Ms. Heigl is actually pretty good in such fizzy fare, elevating predictable material into something almost worth watching. Almost. "The Ugly Truth" was directed by Robert Luketic ("Legally Blonde"), from a script by Nicole Eastman and the team of Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah Lutz, the duo who wrote "Legally Blonde" and "The House Bunny."

Perhaps because it's less stylized than those films, "The Ugly Truth" isn't fizzy and fun -- it's vacuously snappy. Butler, the gruffly bearded Scottish-born hunk, hasn't done much since leading the Spartans in the semi-digitized war epic "300" (2007); this is the first chance anyone who didn't catch "RocknRolla" or "P.S. I Love You" has had to see what he's like in an ''ordinary'' role.

To judge from "The Ugly Truth," I'd say he's a potato-faced Russell Crowe with a lot less charm. Butler has a jovial twinkle, but because he's working so hard to nail an American accent, he doesn't so much enunciate his words as masticate them. He tears into every scene as if he were devouring a 20-ounce steak.

Heigl, who has mastered the art of acting insecure in order to make her porcelain-doll sexiness seem more offhand, has energy problems of her own. She's not just nervous, she's skittish; she can't relax for long enough to let the audience fall for her.

She and Butler certainly generate sexual chemistry: They're both so tightly wired, and attractive in such outsize opposite ways ("When Gladiator Met Barbie?" Okay, I'll stop), that when they kiss on an elevator, they look as if they can hardly wait to go to bed.

But does that mean they're right for each other? Or just ripe for an empty hot fling? Mike thinks that a ''refined'' woman like Abby needs a caveman to shake her up. He also thinks that's a finger in the eye of conventional wisdom. The ugly truth is that it's the ultimate chick-flick cliché.

The 19-year-old actress turned academic told Paste that she'll be hitting the books stateside this fall.

Jermaine Jackson also says the late singer looked for the good in everyone and described his unexpected death on June 25 at age 50 as a "tragic loss."

Shilpa Shetty on Salman Khan’s show ‘Dus Ka Dum’

The episode of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ this week promises loads of fun. The bonhomie between Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty came to the fore on the show, even as cricketer Irfan Pathan remained a bit quiet and reserved. The actress looked gorgeous in a fetching red dress.

Having worked together in a number of films including ‘Garv’, ‘Phir Milenge’, ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’, Salman and Shilpa bonded like old buddies. In between their repartee, a diamond on Shilpa’s finger caught Salman’s eye and he instantly asked her if it was her engagement right.

Shilpa, who’s dating London-based businessman Raj Kundra, said the ring wasn’t a gift but she bought it herself.

To draw Irfan out of his shell, Salman prompted him to share his cricketing experience, and on a lighter note, asked him to sing a song.

Irrfan chose the song ‘O O Jaane Jaana’ which he sang for Shilpa, who kept smiling through the pacer Pathan’s rendition.

Mugdha-Bipasha Can't Be Friends

A source tells, “Bipasha is a veteran compared to newbie Mugdha (even though Mugdha is more talented than Bips and is equally hot). The two actresses were insecure about the length of footage they had in a song. Bipasha is a good dancer and thought of mentoring Mugdha. She wore the choreographer’s hat, even though Bosco and Caesar were present and showed her some steps. This may not have gone down very well with the graceful and Kathak-trained dancer Mugdha.”
After that incident, ego played the devil and both of them stopped talking to each other. According to a source, director Rohit Shetty and choreographer Bosco Caesar had tough time managing the situation, as both the actresses were required for a dance sequence, but the cold vibes between them was evident.

And reports say that later both Bipasha and Mugdha simply refused to shoot together. However, Kumar Mangat, the producer of the film, was quoted as saying that the shoot in Goa went smoothly without any hassles. But director Rohit Shetty confessed that some people on the sets became friends and some didn’t.

Asin Wins The Kalaimamani Award By The Tamil Nadu Government

Drunk Deepika Padukone fell into Saif's hands!

Deepika had a freak accident while shooting for the song ‘Chor Bazaari’ on the sets of 'Love Aaj Kal'.
Apparently, in the song Deepika is drunk and dancing wildly in a dhabha on the highway. She climbs on to the table and while dancing falls recklessly into Saif's arms. In one particular take, Deepika leaned back to fall into Saif's arms but instead fell off the table which was on a raised platform 6-7 feet off the ground.
Director Imtiaz Ali and the other crew members was a bit worried but felt relaxed when Saif acted spontaneously and took hold of Deepika’s clothes and both tumbled off the platform together, unhurt.
In spite of the pain, Deepika Padukone laughed off the matter and carried on with her shots and gave a perfect shot.
