Mischa Barton, who was hospitalized last week and reportedly placed under psychiatric supervision, "continues to improve but is still undergoing treatment," according to her publicist Craig Schneider. She hopes to return to work later this month, when The CW's The Beautiful Life is to begin production. Barton was cast as a pill-popping model in the new series, and despite reports to the contrary, Schneider insists her involvement remains on track as the network recently requested bio info to include in the show's press materials.
