The best selling American Idol winner is about to release her third single from her latest disc in the US, “Already Gone”, and just released the dates for her fall All I Ever Wanted Tour.
The shows will go on pre-sale/sale staring on August 15th, depending on the dates. Kelly is going to be performing on October 10th at the Patriot Center, in Fairfax Virginia. The tour starts on October 2nd in Connecticut and ends on December 13th in Florida.
Beating her own record for highest jump to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (“A Moment Like This” jumped from #52 to #1 in 2002) when her lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” jumped from #97 to #1 back in January makes her the only artist to do so. The song is actually the only American Idol alum song to reach #1 that is not related to the show/released through it. This marks Kelly’s second #1 in the US, her first in the UK and fourth in Canada.
